We are counting down the days to our new opening.  We are now actively searching for a talented culinary professional to be our Chef de Cuisine.  The cuisine at The Perfect Provenance will feature a farm to table cafe with an international flair serving healthy lunch and afternoon snack service. We will offer private events for clients including dinners, cocktail parties and celebrations. The store's art inspired concept will have exhibitions that change every 10 to 12 weeks -- the cuisine will be inspired by the current exhibition. The chef will join a team of dedicated professionals that work well together in a focused and healthy environment. We are seeking a creative, flexible individual who is interested in helping us to create a unique and engaging dining experience.

The chef de cuisine will be in charge of day to day operations of the kitchen, including upholding cooking and quality standards in the kitchen, expediting during service, maintaining DOH standards, and scheduling and recruitment of kitchen staff.

Requirements:
- Formal culinary education
- Five years experience in a NYC or CT area kitchen, including two years as a chef or sous chef
- Knowledge and training in international cuisine
- Food handler's certificate
