Brazilian designer Alexandre Birman hails from a family of heralded shoemakers. He trained in his father's shop, learning the craft from the sole up. Soléi Sea sandals is women owned and operated. Our business was born when four of us, bi-coastal best friends, set out to create a fresh take on an old classic. We knew the flip-flop—a minimalist, utilitarian design at heart—could have so much more sole.

We believe in taking care of Mother Earth, and eco-mindedness is at the forefront of everything we do.- Sandals are crafted of vegan leather, which assures no animals were hurt in the process, less carbon emissions, and less water usage than traditional leather production.
